Learning new software is all well & good, but it has left me doing "comfortable" things with the software i use from day 2 day... so i have been out of my comfort zone & played with vector's. i must say, i think i prefer lines... especially big black outlines!

 This might be a very literal way to explore a narrative but as i find often, you have to go back, way back....... Never forget what made you you.......

  Ok so my studies are finished for this (academic) year & i'm on my summer holidays..... I have managed to catch up on a couple of things, but then disaster..... i've been struck down with the dreaded "man flu", it has given me time to think though (and play "infamous 2"). I am back making plans....... the future is bright, the future is......                                                                                                                             

            more playing with lettering, it is a means to an end for a change.....          

I forget the point of this blog sometimes, it's about talking 2 myself mostly (in a futuristic non-crazy kinda way), it's also to keep a record of what i do.
 That being said here's the vid from my "promotional viral video" project i've just done as an introduction to Audio visual techniques......

Finally got around to doing something with a photo-montage i had made......

 Well i have 1 more project 2 hand in, it's finished, it doesn't work properly but hey ho
i now give this academic year the name "year of the prototype" which would be fine if that is what i intended it 2 be........

 well yesterday was surprisingly tough, shooting my "real" portfolio  & making a slideshow for my  module in director i am reminded of how much i still need 2 learn, also how i need 2 bin it & start from scratch......
But i don't have time for that, i just need 2 remember...... stick 2 the plan.

 Ok not alot of Uni work actually going on, but my pen tool ability is getting better, so i've decided to revisit some of my past works...... & i'm pretty happy with the results so far....

 As this is the 4th time of trying 2 post i'll keep it short & 2 the point, editing sucks, Ae & Pr wont do as i say, but i have a sound track

nothin goin right today, should of quit & played a video game ages ago...... but i have played with a little "branding" exercise instead, quite interesting for first thoughts....

 Having a few problems with THE AV (inMyLife), no not the referendum, audio visual, having issues with Ae, losing things, stuff not playing, compatibility.... at this rate i'm going to scrap my one and only idea....... Maybe the concept is ok, maybe it's just the how......

it's almost like forming 2d clay, without the fingerprints....
